The West Texas Fair & Rodeo is proud to award over $7,750 to students in the Regular Calf Scramble each year. This prize money is used for the purchase of animal projects to be shown at the West Texas Fair & Rodeo the following year. Additionally, the West Texas Fair & Rodeo awards $6,000 in scholarships to ten seniors in the Abilene area. These scholarships are applied to ANY form of higher education - trade schools, junior colleges, and 4-year public or private universities. We are proud of our contribution to the agricultural industry and the life-changing differences offered to our students.
