The West Texas Fair & Rodeo is proud to re-introduce the Scholarship Program!
The Livestock Scholarship is offered to high school seniors who have exhibited at least one entry in the West Texas Livestock Shows in the years 2023 and 2024. A $1,000.00 scholarship will be presented to the selected student and mailed directly to their institution in August of their freshman year.
The Creative Arts Scholarship is offered to high school seniors who have entered projects in at least 5 divisions of the Creative Arts Fair in the years 2023 and 2024. A $1,000.00 scholarship will be presented to the selected student and mailed directly to their institution in August of their freshman year.
Application details and requirements must be submitted by November 1, 2024 to the West Texas Fair & Rodeo Office at the Expo Center of Taylor County, 1700 HWY 36, Abilene, TX 79602. An unbiased committee will review all documentation and notify selected individuals by December 15, 2024.
The West Texas Fair & Rodeo is proud to offer $8,000 annually to high school seniors through the Scholarship Calf Scramble, Livestock Scholarship, and Creative Arts Scholarship!
The West Texas Fair & Rodeo operates under the Expo Center of Taylor County, a 501 c 3 organization. The Expo Center of Taylor County hosts over 250 events annually and is proud to play a part in the lives of the next generation of leaders.
